As a child my father used to take me to the cemetery to go walking around. We used to throw sticks in the walnut trees and collect walnuts to eat but also to feed the squirrels at home. I have very fond memories of that time. Now that I am much older and have been spending much time researching my family genealogy, I have been able to find much information not only about my own family, but of the family members of others they might not know. Find-a-grave has been a big part of finding my family members and also finding out about them. It would be wrong if I would sit on all this information and not get it out there for family members to find. This is why I have joined find-a-grave, to be a part of the sharing of valuable information so that others as well as myself can learn about family history.
