Bio

I live in California but most of my family is from Cleveland, Ohio. Most of my genealogy research centers on Ohio.

Permission is given to use my gravestone photos or any documents I have posted for any non-commercial purpose. I put them here to share with others. Credit is appreciated but not required.

I have created memorials for people not related to me, and I would be happy to make a transfer to anyone willing to maintain any of those memorials, so feel free to ask.

My great-grandfather Ed served in the US Army in WWI with Company H of the 11th Infantry, 5th Division. They saw action in the trenches of northern France and fought in the battles at St. Mihiel and the Meuse-Argonne. I've been working on a project to document the members of the company -- you can see the ones I've found so far in the virtual cemetery at right. My gr-grandfather saved several snapshots of himself with his buddies from the war, and I'm trying to identify their faces. If anyone has information or photos related to Company H, I'd love to share. I've gathered quite a bit of information about the company as time has gone on.
