Bio

I started doing genealogy about 2003 and really got involved with it in 2004 while I was recovering from heart surgery and then just from time to time until I retired in 2016. I made a mistake of not attaching sources when I first started, but when I picked it back up in 2016 I started using FamilySearch and made sure that I documented anyone that I added to my tree. I have found FamilySearch and Find A Grave to be my two best resources that I use religiously. My roots are deeply tied to Germany as all my direct lines came from Gerressen, Ladburgen, Venne and Hannover. I am now starting in the process of adding photos of tombstones in the Dubois county Indiana area that have ties to me.
