I am Chris J LaBoda, surname Loboda. My grandparents are John and Rose (Jakemic) LaBoda and his parents are Josephus & Anna (Kuzma) Loboda from Jakubany Slovakia.

I live in the Cleveland Ohio area where my grandfather immigrated to in I think is 1909.

My grandmother is Rose Jakemic, her first husband Peter Vasil both immigrated to Ohio in 1909. I have no further information on Peter. Rose we believe is from Leszczawa Dolna, Podkarpackie, Poland. Any more information would be appreciated.

John married Rose January 23, 1918 and in addition to Roses children she had with Peter, Joseph & Mary they had Mary, Michael, Lillian, Marjorie, Helen, Frank, Anne and my father John Albert LaBoda.
