The "genealogy bug" bit me early in life when I lived with my grandparents during 2 years in college. I loved to see the old photos and added info on the back of many of them.

As family members found out about my interest in family history, they began giving me pictures and other memorabilia. When genealogy material became available on the internet, I began searching out our roots as time allowed.

Now that I am retired, I have been seriously working on family history. Of course I have hit some dead ends, but the thrill of discovery keeps me going!
