Hi there!

I have always had the bug of curiosity about my long past family. I being one to ask the older members of the tribe, what it was like when they were younger, what was “cool” and in vogue, what did they think about changes that they have seen in their life, and whatever else I could think to ask them that would bring me a little closer to knowing the time before me.

I have held, throughout my life, a curiosity for my ancestors. I have always wanted to know about them and what they were like, what did they do, where did they live, and what might their lives have been like.

Well, a free account to Ancestry.com, made available through my local library (Shout out to East Greenbush Public Library in NY), has unleashed an amazing passion within me. I just cannot get, nor learn, enough about what I consider an art form; the finding of our familial past.
