My Massingill and Gann ancestors came from TN arriving at Nacogdoches, The Republic of Texas 1837. Our ancestors have defended our freedom in many different wars and we are grateful. I am a 4th generation Texan on my maternal side and a Mayflower descendant on my paternal side. My daughter, granddaughter and I are members of Daughters of The American Revolution and The Daughters of The Republic of Texas. Our roots run deep.
