I have a special place in my heart for abandoned, premature, stillborn and/or murdered/aborted infants; orphaned, institutionalized, abandoned and/or murdered children; the mentally ill; the physically handicapped; the institutionalized; the poor; unidentified decedents; victims of homicide; and the marginalized of society in all their varied forms who often died alone and were buried with nothing to mark their final resting places.

I have researched those who died at the Indiana State Hospital (Fort Wayne, IN); Allen County Poor Farm (Indiana); Irene Byron Sanatorium (Fort Wayne, IN); the Indiana School for Feeble Minded Youth (Fort Wayne, IN); and Waverly Hills Cemetery (Waverly Hills, KY). I actively seek out and research the unknown, unconnected deceased in cemeteries and crematoriums across the United States.
