I am a native of Monroe, Louisiana, but my family is originally from the Beouf River area in Richland and Caldwell Parishes. Family names include Anderson, Boley, Holland, Jackson, Marshall, Turner, Washington, and Young families. When I am home for holidays and other various reason, I spend time going to the various cemeteries in Richland Parish to find the final resting place of my very large family.
