I knew of one maternal great grandfather and his wife when I started. Initially I was looking for a blood record of a Revolutionary soldier to qualify for DAR. I have since become a member of 13 lineage societies.
Over the years I've availed myself of countless genealogical workshops, visited many cemeteries, court houses, libraries and archives searching, searching, searching!
