My daddy passed away suddenly in 2009, and I recently came across some old photos. I'm having a great time researching these people (ancestors from his side of the family). I knew none of them. Amazing how far back you are able to go in genealogy, and how much you can learn from your ancestors. So far, as it goes right now, some of his family surnames are Buffington, Kleckler, Birchen, McDougal(l). Many, or most, were in Illinois (Stephenson Cty, Carroll Cty), in Wisconsin, Connecticut, and New York. Some descended from Germany, France, and possibly Ireland, England, and Wales. Any help would be appreciated, and I'll be happy to help anyone in any way that I can as well! Feel free to use any pics that I post.
