Bio

From the beginning of time, a family/tribe's history was passed down through the generations by storytellers. As documentation came into existence, histories became more permanent and accurate. Family storytellers became keepers of documentation. There was something special about spending time with older family, listening to family stories while looking through dozens of old certificates, news clippings, photos, and momentos. In the digital age, this is all gone, sadly. Photos are on computer, old documents are often downloaded and discarded, and few have time to spend with elders. At least a site like this and Ancestry.com allow people to create a record with their info that can be stored, barring a future disaster.
