Bio

I became interested in preserving families' histories when a brother talked me into doing a DNA testing. After retiring from teaching, I had lots of time on my hand, a new iPad, and history, for some reason, had become more interesting.

When researching for ancestors to add to our "Tree" branches, editing (as in connecting parents with children, spouses, siblings) it seemed a natural fit to help Find A Grave in making sure dates, places and family data were correct for future generations.

Find a Grave FAQ is a feature I am often reading to discover what's available. I've not arrived but I'm heading in that direction.

Present family ancestral surnames in my quest are: Brown; Caraway; Eastwood; Hines; Laird; Lowery; Pickren; Powell; Riddle; Robertson; Rucker; Ruff; Steger; Thompson; Warren; Wilcox/Willcox; Whitehurst; and Young.
