I am relatively new to Genealogy, but am eager to learn and trace my family tree. While from Missouri, I have been a citizen of the world, living 30 years in Norway, the UK and China. Now retired in South Carolina.
There are others perhaps, like me, who did not ask the questions of those who knew more while they were still around. So I am working my way back via the records - and a few old boxes of photos.
But it's great fun.
My family over the past century is nearly all from Missouri; prior to that Czechoslovakia (Moravia), Germany and inklings that there may be some from Ireland. Of course, there are loads of gaps to be filled.
