Bio

My Father was born and raised in Harrison County, Indiana. Our ancestors moved there from Spotsylvania, Virginia approximately 1830. I'm still researching for my Cunningham origins, most likely they came to the states from Northern Ireland / Scotland or England in the early to mid 1700s. My YDNA (brother Alan tested) was R-MC21

My Mother was born and raised in Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas. She thought the name was English but through genealogy work I've discovered it was Swiss. The original spelling was Frey. My mtDNA haplogroup is U5b3g1 (Laplanders?) and surnames were Oliver, Barger, Johnston, Turner, Smith, Dickerson, Cosby...to be continued
