I was born and raised in a little east Texas town called Hallsville, where much of my paternal family either moved to or grew up. Currently I'm in Kerrville, Texas. Genealogy is just a hobby for me more than an obsession, but it has connected me with my roots in a way that nothing else can. I'm proud of my heritage.
