I was handed the Family Genealogy Torch by my Daddy a number of years ago. It has since become a passion.
My family research includes the surnames: Ring, Burke, Blizzard, Osborne, Jones, Haga, Skeen, Lee, Elam, Smallwood, Austin, Banner, Griffin, Corbitt, Smith, Lyons, Rowell, Dowling, Burnside, Sheffield, Strickland, Bennett, Geiger, Martin, White, Riffe, Stephens, Meek, Fitzpatrick, Tolley, Prince and several others.
Aside from my own, extended family, I will occasionally contribute to the 'trees' of friends and other loved ones for I feel very strongly the importance of keeping the legacies alive of those who have gone before us, so that future generations might know 'from whence they came'.
