Born and raised in Van Wert, Ohio. I've always been a history buff and when I broke my right elbow in 1991, I needed something to write about in order to get my handwriting back. Genealogy and filling out family sheets was just the thing I needed. It wasn't long before I was tramping in cemeteries, going to far off Court houses, making long distance phone calls, going to the Allen County Library in Ft. Wayne, IN , and making charts to keep things in order. I've researched mainly my surname of Boroff. I seem to be stalled at Michael, my GGG grandfather. I now have over 8,000 of his descendants, but I know there's more out there.
