Bio

My closer family connection names are: Turner, Whiteside, Fussell and Oliver. I am a Find a Grave newbie since the Autumn of 2013. I am a retired optician who enjoys suduko and mahjongg. I am learning to like gardening! Online I read random blogs and post silly updates on FaceBook. I am a widow with two adult "kids" and two grands. My adult daughter is disabled....I bought our "4 grave lots" and chose an upright, old fashioned family headstone when she was born, but, 35 years later, she has proved the early doctors wrong! My first time out taking photos of old Chattanooga grave stones, I wished I were more nimble on my feet! I think my years of mild vertigo have prepared me for reading gravestones while walking and not watching my path. (Who knew graveyards were not always the smooth surfaced grassy parks pictured on "Castle"?) I love taking photos and hope someday to be good at it! Meanwhile, I plan to continue to talk to the dead, wonder about their long ago lives, and pray I don't forget how to post these photos. If I post some for you, and you wish more, email me because I probably have 4 or 5 in my home files that I can share.
