Bio
Ancestors on both sides of my family migrated to Texas in the mid 1800's many of them settling in Comanche County. I grew up in De Leon, Texas and many of my ancestors are buried there. I am also a product of west Texas having spent my high school years in Abilene and my college years at Texas Tech. I retired out of San Antonio where I lived for over 30 years to Georgetown.
I have been gathering family history data as a hobby for 25-30 years. I enjoy visiting cemeteries looking for ancestors. The primary families of interest include: Crockett, Hunt, Lauderdale, Lipscomb, Locke, Malone, Nabors, Rivers, Sayers, Scott, Sechrist, Stephens, Stowe, Upshaw and Valentine.
