I am retired office manager/accountant. Since retirement in 2009 I have continued researching my genealogy. I have been married 47 years in September 2013. We have a son and daughter and two grandsons.

Ma and Pa Carson (Alfred and Hettie Carson) were my great grandparents. I was blessed to know them personally and felt very close to them. They are buried at Hurricane Hill in Dyer County.

Most other Carsons who resided in Dyer County are also buried in this cemetery.

The Carsons who moved to Memphis TN in the 50s are buried at Woodhaven/Northridge Cemetery in Millington, Shelby County, Tennessee. Sons of John Darling Carson (Pa's son) are AW, Coolidge and Edward Cecil and all three are buried at Woodhaven.

I am finding that it is a very small world and have found 'relatives' that I never knew I had.
