Bio

I have been into genealogy since I was given an original copy of a family history that my great-grandfather wrote in 1905. Both of my grandmothers coached me in the family history, and I have always wanted to share that heritage with all of the family. Find-A-Grave give me a chance to share that info not only with people I know, but also with others that I don't personally know. My family teases me about it, but cemeteries are a wealth of information and history. It is interesting to see the family connections, the architecture and style of the grave markers and monuments, and the different ethnic styles over the years. Every grave represents a real person who was loved. Some have been forgotten, but find-a-grave is helping people rediscover their families. Since I was 12, I have "adopted" my uncles who died in the Civil War, because they had no children of their own to remember them. Likewise, I want to help the babies and children to be remembered, by linking them to their parents. If you have corrections or new info to add, just click on "Edit". If you are related, I'd love to share info with you.
