Bio

Genealogy addict, research fiend, DNA amateur, ancestor worshiping, tombstone rubbing fool.

I claim no copyright to any photo I post. I personally scanned 3/4ths of the photos I post so far. I have been emailed by family members or just saved from websites the rest. If I have used a photo you have the right to, let me know and I will remove it or give you credit, which ever you prefer.

As to the rest that I have the original photos, use them as you wish. If we share an ancestor (Boulogne, Maillioux, Rambin, Larance, Lynn, Chancellor, Garner, King, Diffee, Luper, Colvin, Henson or Flowers) feel doubly free to take it and add it to your Ancestry tree. It's really cool to have those Shared Ancestor DNA matches show photos.

If you find yourself here following a link from Ancestry and find your family memorials are not linked to each other, children not listed with parents, suggest an edit.

Consider taking a DNA test. Paper trails and historical documents are useful, but using a double helix is just a bit better. If enough of a person's descendants take a test we can leave more of a record about them. We can help put together a DNA signature of them. A genetic identity that others can be compared. A birth certificate, a census record, a faded photo, a grave and a DNA sample. I just think it is important to consider.

Y chromosome terminal SNP R-S673
L21 DF13 DF49 M222 S658 DF105 DF85 (S673+)
Niall of the Nine Hostages (Did he actually exist? I can't be sure)
