I was born in Charlotte, NC to Brenda Faye Coley and Ronnie Dunn. I was raised by my paternal grandparents DM Dunn and Lillian Ensley in Belmont, NC from age 2.
I have one daughter, Christina (dad Garry) and 3 grandchildren Brian, Alec and Rowan and 1 step-grandchild Joshua. I was married to the late Garry Hale and then the late Rev. Charles Lockhart.
I am a Christian and have obtained my degrees in Child Development and Family studies spent the majority of my life's work in service to children and families as a Head Director of a Christian early childhood preschool.
I have a passion for Jesus, teaching, writing, ancestry, history, paranormal research, classic rock, reading, exploring abandoned places and cemeteries, and mostly spending time with all of my grandchildren!
