I have been fascinated with our family history for 40+ years! I remember searching the microfilms at the Federal Archives; my dad driving my mom and my aunt from county to county to visit genealogy libraries; and walking cemeteries, looking for our ancestors. Find a Grave, Ancestry.com, and the likes have made it possible for us to search from the comfort of our homes, although I still enjoy walking through cemeteries in person. I am thankful for others in our families who have also done so much research - my mom, my aunt, my husband's cousin-in-law, etc. My mom and I used Find a Grave for research for several years before I registered as a member. Find a Grave has been an amazing tool. I greatly appreciate the contributors and photographers!
