Our goal as FindAGrave members is to photograph Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, McLennan, Texas.

Special Note:

If there is NOT any Headstone or Marker Photo posted in blocks/sections that have been completed, we were unable to find one in the block/section designated as a burial place for an individual. NO Headstone/NO Marker will be designated either in the BIO or NOTE fields of a memorial.

If the spouse or person sharing the headstone is still living, we do not post a pre-need memorial or photo, as that is against F-A-G's rules to do so.

The following Blocks have been completed to the best of our ability:

Block 1 - completed as of Oct 2012
Block 2 - completed as of Jan 2013
Block 3 - completed as of Feb 2013
Block 4 - completed as of Mar 2013
Block 5 - completed as of April 2013
Block 6 - completed as of June 2013
Block 7 - completed as of July 2013
Block 8 - completed as of Aug 2013
Block 9 - completed as of Sep 2013
Note: In Block 9 there are 22 Unknown Confederate Soliders Headstones between lots 25 -28.
Block 10 - completed as of May 2014
Block 11 - completed as of June 2014
Block 12 - completed as of June 2014
Exception: There are two metal makers, whom we can't figure out who they are due to the fact names are messed up on them.
Block 13 - completed as of July 2014

We are currently working on Block 14
This is a work in progress, so please be patient with us, as we try to get as much information on each person, so we may help others find their family. Suggestions or SAC's on memorials are welcomed if you have information that we may add.

We have taken the time to look up information such as, death certificates, burial information, funeral home records, and sometimes, even obituaries. We do not know anything else about these folks other than what we post.

Memorial Owners: You can help do your part in helping us by filling in the info we send to you in SAC's/Suggest a Correction or on Your Contributor Edits so please remember to check it often.

Thank You
