I love Genealogy and I enjoy knowing all I can about my Ancestors. Being a "Find A Grave" member is a wonderful way to share with others your Family Legacy.

However, I have found that mistakes do happen! Someone may Create a Memorial on one of your loved ones without knowing the true facts!

As a Proof - Reader in Genealogy. I have found several of my Relatives here @ Find A Grave. That were Created by other Members who have given wrong information concerning their names or photos that do not add up with the grave site.

I'm not here to blame anyone, I'm only saying that if you plan on being a grave finder for someone. You must be accurate in documenting your information. PLEASE NEVER PRESUME ANYTHING!!!

If the information that you submit on line is not correct. Then someone has to go behind you and contact these people who Created the Memorial. To fix their mistakes they made when posting it on the "Find A Grave" website.

Please, let us all be as consistent as we can by showing honor to those who have gone on before us. In presenting their grave information as Accurate as possible.
