I am a lifelong resident of the Dallas - Fort Worth area (with the exception of a few years in Florida), and a 5th generation Texan. I recently found that my 3rd great-grandfather on my paternal grandmother's side of the family was an original settler to our great state of Texas, so I have been working on all of the research & documentation to apply to be a Daughter of the Republic of Texas!
My maternal grandmother, Leah Kendrick, got me interested in geneology, and gave me a great start to working on all of the various branches of the family.
I'm very fortunate to have a job in the real estate sales business, which allows me to travel and work with a flexible schedule to be able to afford my geneology "habit" :-)
I hope to be a more consistant contributor to this site. "I BRAKE FOR CEMETERIES!"
