I became interested in genealogy during a long recovery period from foot surgery when all I could do is read.
not to even know the names of some of my great grandparents I am amazed at what you can find with a little perseverance. The most frustating thing for me is knowing the idenities of an ancestor and the general area where they lived all their lives and to not be able to find where they are buried.
That is why I am willing to volunteer my time doing photo requests.
