On My father side we have traced the lineage back to A. Davis who apparently died in Arkansas and left a 1 year old by the name of James Jefferson Davis who was taken in by his grandfather James Gandy. One of his sons was Earnest Nelson Davis, my grandfather, a son, Raymond Nathan Davis, was my father.
On my mother side her maiden name was Reno, her father was George Lafayette Reno, his father was William Taylor Reno, his father was William Miles Reno, his father was Amos Reno. DNA test show that we belong to the family of Louis Reynaud, French Huguenots.
