Daughter of Robert Winnie and Dorothy Gilbert. Searching my paternal Winnie and Moore lines. My maternal lines are Forte Gilbert and Anna Cooper. However with DNA verification, I've found that my mother's paternal line is not Gilbert but Utley. So my direct ancestor line is now focused on Utley. I do continue to verify Gilbert connections as they are distant cousins. Having been born and raised in Michigan, I've found that only 2 generations back I have many marriages intertwined. 1st cousins married, widows/widowers married siblings of deceased and more.
