My research includes the Swanson family in Iowa (originaly Kalmar and Östergötland, Sweden), the Schmidt family in Illinois, the Williams family in Boone County, Iowa, and the Bergman family in Webster, Boone, and Hamilton Counties in Iowa (originally from Västernorrland, and Östergötland, Sweden).
