Son of John Henry Land of Columbus, GA & Rosalie Wilson of Beaufort, SC.. He is buried in Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA; she in Foreston Cemetery in Foreston, SC w/her parents. I am the oldest of their four children (3 sons, 1 dtr)
Graduated from Columbus High School, attended Emory University & graduated from the University of Georgia, with a major in chemistry & zoology.
Married Nancy Lu Rushing, 12 Aug 1966, in Columbus, Ga. Parents of dtr, Jennifer Rebecca Land Parker (Brian) & John Henry 'Jay' Land, IV (Stephanie Clary). 3 grandsons & 2 granddaughters.
Retired from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals after 47 years. Currently live in Pike Road, AL. Currently serving as an elder in our church, on the board of Health Talents International, and active in the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
