Adopted at 3 days old, finding out at 13 and then finding my birth mother at 30. I have a very big extended family and was raised in Summerville SC as a low country native, I'm very proud to say. I never knew my true heritage and how ironic to find out I was actually pretty much the same stuff my adopted family was ...Irish and Cherokee :) So I grew up a Simmons/Adams but I'm really a Bilton/Berry...I guess you could say.

I've had lots of love and loss in my life by the time I reached 31 I became a widow of my first husband. Richard Shannon Greene, I had just lost my Daddy, Thomas Edison Simmons, my Grand Mother N Law, Margaret Greene, My Father N Law Rick Greene and then within 4 years lost my mom Joan A Simmons ...I still have my birth Mother who was brought to me in the midst of this like and angel from heaven and she was never far away. I couldn't have got through all of that with out her, Rose Berry. She shared with me my birth Father, John Denver Bilton, who passed just before I found out who he was. I now have sisters on both sides I love dearly and brothers too, and they all are wonderful to me (thank goodness for facebook!) We have truly had blessed lives and the grace of God is with us when we are at our darkest and sunniest moments.

I have to include I have been on a search for the Greene's for my Daughter Autumn, she was only 3 when her Dad passed and we are searching for her Grandmother, Linda "Angel" Greene, her Aunt's , Alexis, Kourtney Greene and her Uncle Chase Greene and anyone else in Shelby County NC that might be a Greene is probably related!

I currently live in Titusville FL on the Space Coast and I would be happy to search for anyone needing information here in our area. I'm soon to move the Philippines where I understand many WWII soldiers are at rest. I can be of service there too sometime in the spring of 2012.
