Son of Henry J. and Josephine M. (Zwers) Rusche, grandson of Joseph P. Rusche. Have always lived in the Detroit area, but all Rusche ancestors lived in Grand Rapids. As a youngster, on nearly every visit to GR, it was pointed out to me that my grandfather Joseph P. built the Bridge Street Bridge in 1904.
