My interest in genealogy stems from my great grandmother telling me stories about her family in the Dutch Fork in South Carolina. When I was 10, her son taught me to do archival research. So for the last more than 40 years, I have been hooked. For the last few years, I have been delving into genetic genealogy as well, which offers great promise for breaking down old walls.
