Born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Attended the now closed Overbrook School and Carrick High School. My family traces from Birmingham (South Side), Mt. Washington (Duquesne Heights), Mt. Oliver, Knoxville, Beltzhoover, Allentown, Carrick, and points south. I moved to the country in 1983 to marry my high school sweetheart, but unfortunately she passed in early 2010. Like most, when we were young we paid no attention to who was related to who and who was related to who... fortunately for me, my mother saved family death notices and obituaries and wrote down family relationships like her father's six sisters! In this day of digital photographs, PLEASE identify photos and if possible write on the back of real photographs so the next generation know who they're looking at!
