Genealogy is a long time hobby of mine. I started when I was 19 years old and have been working on it since. I started to contribute to this site because it is such a wonderful resource. My general goal is to preserve as much information as I can about my ancestors and help others do the same. :-)

In regards to memorial transfers, I will happily transfer any of your family members to you (unless we share an ancestor then we will figure it out.) Just let me know how they are related to you. In my opinion it makes sense to have someone who is knowledgeable of that family checking the memorial updates and can benefit from knowing the new information being added. I just ask that you hold off requesting until you have had your account for a little while. I don't want to transfer the memorials to someone who might not stick with the responsibility of maintaining them. Thanks!

*** I do take lots of photos of headstones. I always have GPS on when I take these photos so they fill in the memorial with the specific GPS location. I will post duplicates of the headstone images if the GPS of the location is missing. If you would like me to remove a duplicate photo just let me know. I think the GPS stays in place once it is populated***
