My birth mother was Delores "Deenie" Payne Melson of Shoals, Martin Cty, IN. She was married and divorced to Clyde Melson of Moulton, Lawrence Cty, AL. After taking a DNA test on Ancestry.com, it was confirmed that Clyde Melson was not my father, but is the father to my two older siblings. My father is an unknown Waters, also of the Moulton, AL area. I come up as a direct descendent of both the Waters and my father's mother's Shelton lines. I'm doing genealogy research of my birth family.
