I became interested in family history when my grandmother took me to Europe at age eleven in 1958. We visited Wagenfeld, not far from Bremen, Germany, where her ancestors came from. I took pictures of the old church and the Koldenstrodt monument in the graveyard.

In the 1970's and '80's I worked a lot on genealogy and recorded histories of my parents and grandmother. With the explosive recent growth in computer research resources, I am now beginning to fill in the many missing pieces of the puzzle.

I volunteer at the Clallam County Genealogy Library in Port Angeles, Washington. With my wife I have traveled to Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C., Salt Lake City, San Francisco, to name some of the places where we have done research.

We have become pretty good at research, documentation, grave marker photography, and other skills needed by family historians and genealogists. We love to share our skills and knowledge.
