I've always been interested in ancestry, but didn't get serious until I had ankle surgery this past summer (2010). I finally had time to start as I had to be off my feet for 2 months. I started with my husbands family (Ervin / Weidauer)because we know nothing on both sides of the family past his one grandmother. So much is still a mystery. Find A Grave has really helped in putting pieces together, along with Ancestry.com and Family Search. I thank all of you who have contributed to this website.
