From Austin, Texas (formerly a native of Chicago, Illinois). The third of seven children. Graduated from Highland Park High School in the Class of 1999 and moved to Austin, Texas shortly afterwards several months later. Graduated from Austin Community College and St. Mary's University in San Antonio: employed with Wells Fargo, Inc and served in the US Marine Corps from 2000 to 2006 with the rank of Sergeant; stationed in San Diego, California. Later worked for KXAN-TV Austin, NBC affiliate in the production staff department; later employed at Twitchy Magazine, Inc., I'm also been with my wife, Trixie Kazan for the last twelve years and we've live together in Austin together. Parents of triplet daughters

Also staunch fan of the Chicago Cubs (2016 WS Champs) Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bulls and also a fan of the Stanford Cardinal Football and the University of Oklahoma and Stanford University Women's Gymnastics Teams.
