I have been interested in my family history since I was about 12 years old. I am a former member and Co-president of my local historical society and the Daughters of the American Revolution. I also am a member of the Du Quoin Historic Preservation Commission. My historical society has completed work on a book about Perry County IL one room schoolhouses.Lastly, I am a volunteer in the genealogy section in my local library and serve as Trustee and president of the Du Quoin Library Board.
