Glen was born at Wynnewood, Pennsylvania and has resided in Aldan, Doylestown, Philadelphia, and Merion, Pennsylvania; Savannah, Georgia; and New York City. He has an M.F.A. in Architectural History from the Savannah College of Art & Design, Savannah, Georgia and a B.A. from University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware. Currently, he is the Historic Preservationist for the Town of Bluffton (Beaufort County), South Carolina and previously was the resident architectural historian (Manager, Special Projects) for the New York Landmarks Conservancy in New York City and an adjunct instructor at NYU School of Professional Studies, Center for Applied Liberal Arts.
