Thank you for visiting my Memorials and thank you also for any flowers/notes you may leave as it is greatly appreciated. I have been retired since 2009 yet had started my research awhile before that time. I enjoy the rewards of researching mine and my Husband's family histories. My genealogy research actually started after finding various family documents and notes that my Mom and Grandmother had started. I have, since finding these documents, been researching our Surnames associated with our families. They are: (my Dad side) ~ from England, Vermont & New York - Ashley, Banner, Langford, Price, Rogers, Cannings, Carn (my Mom side) ~ from Vermont, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia & Indiana - Buchanan, Kincaid, Lewis, Hill, Long, Windell, Smith & Gochenour (my Husband side) - from France, Vermont & Massachusetts ~ Lever, Pratt, Becker, Baker, Granger, Phillips, Drury & Tobey ~My Family Members are: my Dad - Edward Frank Ashley ; my Mom - Ruth Ashley (Buchanan) Ashley; my Paternal Grandfather - James Thomas Ashley; my Paternal Grandmother - Catherine Freda (Rogers) (Ashley) Carn; my Maternal Grandfather - Thomas Hill Buchanan; my Maternal Grandmother - Zetta Mae (Long) Buchanan : My Father-in-Law - Harry Dennis Lever; my Mother-in-Law - Helen Gertrude (Phillips) Lever - Through our Marriage of 49 years, we have added to our family, three wonderful and caring Sons and many wonderful, faithful and loving fur-baby companions as well. I have enjoyed every minute of this journey and found many treasures to pass down to our children and grandchildren. Please feel free to contact me, for any information on the above listed families, as I would love to hear from others with the same family connections (if using the email, please type in the subject the words Find A Grave)To all who have lost a Dear Family Member or Friend, my sincere heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family.
