Bio
My hobby is genealogy and for the past twenty years I have actively pursued researching my family tree.
I am a 4th great-granddaughter of Walter Neal and Winifred Wood whose descendants are profiled in the book "Neals of Bedford Co., VA. and Family of Walter Neal, Sr. of Lawrence and Gallia Counties, Ohio" by Chester I. Miller.
I am also related to many of the Norwegian immigrants (both on my paternal and maternal lines) who came to America and Canada from the island of Karmøy in Rogaland County, Norway. My paternal grandfather was from Langåker farm and my maternal grandparents were from Åkra on Karmøy.
I think Findagrave is a great genealogical resource and is a wonderful tool for memorializing and honoring the lives of our ancestors.
