Inventoried stones at Linwood Cem. beginning in about 2002 and ending about 2006 but did not photograph stones. Had to remove the names and later readd most of them due to a problem caused by the cemetery. Inventoried stones at Mt. Calvary and photographed all stones starting about 2012 and ending about 2014. Same for Mt. Olivet in about 2015, Memorial Gardens and Resurrection in 2020. Copied only names, dates and added photo if the stone was legible for all cemeteries. Also I skipped pre-death stones where the birth date was after 1930. Avoiding duplicates is a persistent problem when doing whole cemeteries but is much better with new FAG inputs. Usually I did not add my photo if a photo already existed, unless my photo added clarity of info.

In 2023 I decided to redo Linwood by adding photos. So in 2023 I did Jewish, mausoleum, Vet.Ser. Garden, sec 4C, 4B. 4A. 4, 5A, 5 crypts, 1B, 1E, 7A and 7B. Most stones have a photo already. Maybe I'll due more next year. If others attempt to do likewise or think the FAG cemetery info is accurate remember there are roughly 1000 illegible stones and many graves have no marker, just in Linwood. Consult the office.

Some cemeteries object to the posting of grave info EVEN though it is public information at state and local courthouses, public libraries, local newspapers and many genealogical groups. Often the info is online such as Ancestry and Rootsweb. Bottom line is I will avoid any cemetery that objects.
