I am a Registered Nurse Manager who retired after working 30+ years with the State of Louisiana, LSU Medical Center System.

My mother was from Horry County,(Nichols/Floyds,South Carolina area) and that is is my connection with that area. Her family name is SHELLEY and I have been visiting there for my entire life. There are too many family names (through marriage) to name here but some are the Graham, Floyd, Holt and Mishoe (my grandmother's maiden name) family.

My father was from Abbeville, Louisiana and family ties from South Louisiana are the PLAISANCE, SARVER, LANDRY families.
