I'm a family history buff with strong ties to the Southern U.S. My family on my father's side goes all the way back to the original "Old 300" Austin Colony settlers in Texas (the first officially approved colony of non-Spanish/Mexicans in Texas), so I am a very die-hard, proud Texan!
