Bio

A member here since March 2009, I am still learning and finding many great things about this remarkable web site, one of my favorite places to go online! This is especially true for those of us who have an affinity or an appreciation for gathering genealogy. We can find so much useful info through grave markers.

Originally from Wallingford CT, I have been in Henderson Nevada since 1978. I have family in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Utah and Nevada. My wife's parents (Ben & Maxine Buckles) lie buried together in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

My mother who lives in Wallingford CT tells me we have Mazeau relatives in Colorado and California, but I've never been clear about who they are/were. My mother's maiden name, Mazeau, is a family name I often search for. My siblings, all sisters, are: Tory Blue of SLO CA, Patricia T of Tucson, Rebecca M of Chandler AZ, Melanie Porter of Durham NC, and my youngest sister Charmaine Glidden of Wallingford CT.

I want to extend my thanks to each and every one of you who put so much of your own time, effort and love into this great work, going out and photographing dozens of gravesites, gathering so many useful details about each buried individual, to make each individual's entry clear and complete. I know that this takes a lot of work and many long and thankless hours, so I want to thank you for your tremendous efforts, and for your love of this work!

We members of find-a-grave with our many varied backgrounds all have at least this work in common with each other. Remember, we are all in this together to help each other wherever we can, when we can. You already understand this if you've been a member here for a little while. Keep active at this site, obtaining at least one new photo per month to post, whether new or requested. Last word: once in a while find and sponsor a relative of your own at this site. Surely every cent will help to support and keep this site going.
